ABOUT WCHS

The Washington County Historical Society was founded in 1964 to preserve the history of Washington County, Oklahoma, as well as educate the public about the county's rich heritage. The WCHS owns the beautifully restored, 19th-century Dewey Hotel Museum. 

Board of Directors

The Washington County Historical Society is governed by a board of nine directors elected by the membership. Elections are held at the Annual Meeting each March.
